Job Description

An environmental, engineering and planning consultancy is seeking an environmental assessor for its Essex based office.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge/understanding or experience of Environmental Impact Assessment techniques especially regarding waste management related activities such as landfilling, waste treatment, incineration, recycling, recovery, transfer and civic amenity operations.

Candidates should be able to appraise alternative operational practises, determine baseline conditions, identify significant issues, apply appropriate assessment methodologies and suggest mitigation measures and identify residual impacts.

Qualifications/Skills Required

- Knowledge/understanding or experience of Environmental Impact Assessment techniques
