Job Description
South East London Local Authority is seeking a highly experienced and professional individual. To manage one of several projects concurrently and to ensure that the implementation of each meets the appropiate standards. This is a 12 month temporary contract commencing 25th August. You will be responsible for delivering on time, within budget and within quality standards of a range of projects specifically relating to social care.
Manage Several Projects
Produce and maintain project plan.
Determine the approach and methodolgies for project implementation.
Manage internal and external resources allocated to projects.
Establish and maintain understanding of project objectives.
To ensure project responsibilities and roles are fully understood by all participants.
To identify and manage project risks
Liase with other managers and professionals to investigate and recommend changes beneficial to service or project.
To supervise work of other officers as required.
Person specification
Must have experience of working in a health, social care or education setting.
Experience of supervising staff
Educated to degree level or equivalent
Knowledge of Prince 2 management methodologies
Budget management skills
