Field Service Engineer - (TV & Video Repair experience)
Basic Salary: £18,500 + 20 days holiday + Car + Pension + Healthcare + Sick Pay
Location: Wales. Swansea, Cardiff, Newport, Merthyr Tydfil, Port Talbot.

After installing the very first national panel in the world (Italy, 1981), my client has specialised in the installation and management of peoplemeter systems. With the inclusion now of the UK, this client is running peoplemeter TAM (Television Audience Measurement) systems in 17 countries on five continents and has thus become the first fully integrated, dedicated supplier of TAM on a global scale
The Role:
The role will report to the Field Operations Manager, and will involve installing television audience monitoring equipment; some rewiring of phone sockets, diagnostic tests, running software applications and investigating/rectifying faults and removing equipment.
The Ideal candidates should have a good basic background in Electronics as a technician if possible and MUST come from the TV & Video repair background.
Candidates must be computer literate and should have experience in working in the field and in people's homes.
All candidates should be happy to work from home, be self-motivated and willing to travel. Salary is £18,500 per annum. In order to carryout their tasks the successful candidate will be given a car, laptop, mobile phone, internet access and fuel card.
Working hours are 40 hours a week, which will include evenings and weekends. But they are responsible for booking there own work. Technicians get the standard 20 days annual leave, PHI, Life assurance and contributory group personal pension.
