Our Client and International Business Company (Trading/Shipping) in Limassol is looking to recruit for the following position:
Financial Manager's Assistant/Accountant
Responsibilities:
To prepare journal entries and reconcile general ledger and subsidiary accounts, to prepare weekly financial statements, including distributing weekly revenue and expenditure reports to departments.
To analyze and reconcile expenditure and revenue accounts, including trustee accounts and investment reports.
To make wire transfers and journal funding transfers and reconcile monthly bank statements.
To calculate and prepare reimbursement billings and track receivables, reconcile monthly accounts receivable.
To prepare audit schedules for external auditors and act from time to time as a liaison between the Company and Auditors.
To prepare and file annual financial statements for the Company.
To provide training in the use of the Companies computerized financial system and to assist departmental personnel with budget questions and other accounting related activities.
To review and verify accuracy of data, maintain accounting record for special accounts and projects, organize own work, setting priorities and meeting critical deadlines.
Qualifications/Skills Required
Requirements:
Experienced user in Microsoft Office (Excel/Word/Power Point/Outlook) Adobe Acrobat/Photoshop.
Knowledge of International Commerce.
Experience in working with Banks.
Ability to Travel.
Ability to work extended hours from time to time.
Knowledge of Languages: English, Russian (and advantage).
Qualifications:
Equivalent to graduation from a four-year college or university with major coursework in accounting, finance, econimics or a related field and one year of general fund accounting experience.
