A professional air conditioning company specialising in the design, supply and installation of air conditioning equipment in a diverse range of industrial sectors. From a single split system in a retail outlet to major VRF multi systems in hotels and offices, they offer a free, no obligation survey, quote and design service nationwide.

They supply a complete range air conditioning products and services. Their work predominantly evolves around commercial fit-out, acting as a specialist air conditioning sub-contractor.

This air conditioning sub-contractor based in Altrincham is looking for an experienced Air Conditioning Design Engineer to work on a freelance basis.

The work will evolve around commercial and retail fit-out contracts for blue-chip clients. The role has responsibility to amend design drawings from either colleagues or a consultancy and to present these ideas to both prospective and existing clients. Design work will also be carried out on Variable Refrigerant Volume (VRV) projects in hotels and offices.

Qualifications/Skills Required

This Air Conditioning Design Engineer is a freelance role and may suit a candidate working from home. This means that location, within reason, is not a huge problem.

Candidate's must be able to show relevant experience of designing air conditioning systems and their implementation within building services systems in a construction environment. Experience in VRV projects would be beneficial and a candidate would ideally be experienced in 2D AutoCAD.

A proven track record in design systems is essential, as are presentation skills as you will be meeting with blue-chip clients.

The successful candidate will be required to work on an ad-hoc basis.
