Job Description

An environmental, engineering and planning consultancy is seeking a geologist/hydrologist for its Essex based offices to to assist in their busy consultancy group.

The ideal candidate will be educated to degree or higher level in Geology or Hydrogeology and either a higher graduate with an appropriate field of research or someone with equivalent relevant experience would suit the position.

Familiarity with LandSim or other appropriate models would be an advantage, as would knowledge of the waste industry or with contaminated land assessments. Ability to design a site investigation, carry it out and produce a report would be useful, as would ability to produce a CQA plan, supervise site works and produce a verification report.

Qualifications/Skills Required

- Degree in Geology or Hydrology
- Higher graduate with an appropriate field of research/someone with equivalent relevant experience
- Familiarity with LandSim or other appropriate models an advantage
- Knowledge of the waste industry beneficial
