Job Description

A multi disciplinary consultancy seeks a Highway Maintenance Engineer to assist with design and supervision of maintenance schemes.
The position will provide assistance with feasibility studies; pavement and other asset investigation work; detailed scheme design; production of scheme documents/drawings for either competitive tender or for Term Contractor; site supervision; client and contractor liaison and consultation with stakeholders.
The position may require work out-of-hours on site from time to time.
A HNC or HND qualification is essential, whilst a Degree is also desirable.
The successful applicant will have previous experience of highway maintenance scheme preparation, desirably with site supervision and contract document preparation experience.
You will be able to work within a team, out-of-hours from time to time and able to work on more than one project at a time.
