Highways Engineer required to join a small team working on a diverse range of highways design schemes. The team is currently undergoing a strategic growth plan with a concentrated effort to develop the highways business in this office so now is the perfect time to join.

You will be involved in schemes of varying sizes from small scale maintenance projects through to multi-million pound major trunk road design. The role will be design focused and will require you to make use of your technical knowledge to deliver innovative design solutions within the agreed timescales and budgetary constraints.

As you progress and the team grows you will be required to assist with the management and mentoring of junior staff and you will be actively encouraged to pursue CPD.

Qualifications/Skills Required

Applications are sought from those with a range of highways experience who feel ready for a new challenge and the opportunity to be a part of the future plans of this team. You will need to have a good level of technical competency and ideally be working towards professional accreditation.

Familiar with industry standard design packages you will be comfortable working to deadlines and be confident dealing with clients and delivering solutions.
