Key Competencies

Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
MX Professional
MS Projects preferred.
Degree in Civil Engineering.
Chartered Civil Engineer.
Good communication and written skills.

Experience

minimum 10 years post chartered experience in the design of major highway projects for UK Government Departments.
Knowledge of the Statutory Process (including Orders), with a thorough understanding of Specification and DMRB standards.
Experienced in the use of MX Professional, including Grade Separated Interchanges.
Knowledge of the Highways Agency procurement strategy an advantage
Knowledge of highway design and build schemes an advantage
Knowledge of environmentally sensitive schemes an advantage
Knowledge of public consultation and public inquiry an advantage
Knowledge of Management Systems
