Job Description
It is vital that the person has some understanding of public sector HR
processes including sickness absence management, grievance and
misconduct. They don't have to have had high level involvement but need
to be familiar with the principles if the processes. When I am
undertaking formal meetings relating to these I will ask the person to
accompany to note take and be responsible for typing up minutes or
statements afterwards. So this role will provide good opportunity for
exposure to formal HR processes.
There will be a heavy emphasis on management information relating to
sickness absence etc and a lot of administrative support will be
required so the person will need good systems knowledge. If you have any
candidates with Oracle experience this would also be very ideal.
Candidates must be IPD qualified or on there way to being IPD qualified
