Job Description
Our Client is part of a multi national, multi million Blue chip manufacturing organisation. They have a strong market positions in the supply of FMCG goods.
We are currently recruiting a HR Officer for our client based in the Lancashire area.
Reporting to the HR Manager, the successful candidate will have responsibility
for all day to day departmental activities, as well as being a key member of the site management team in delivering the site and Personnel Strategy.
You will be involved in constantly reviewing & improving the activities of the Personnel function to ensure continued support and contribution to delivery of the Site Strategy.
You will provide an effective Personnel service to the site. Managing and co-ordinate training and development activity on site and in conjunction with Head Office, ensuring that development needs are identified and met effectively.
? Ideally you will have 3 years + experience within Human Resources/Personnel
? Experience working within Unionised environment (essential)
? Manufacturing or distribution experience (desirable)
? Enjoy working in a team based environment
? Be professional, friendly and committed to your role
? Confident working at a senior level.
? Candidates must also have a proven track record in dealing effectively with a variety of employee relations? and development issues.
? Innovation and continuous improvement are a key element of the Strategy
This is an ideal opportunity for an individual who has an enthusiastic and confident approach who wants to develop their leadership skills .
Salary circa £25,000 + benefits. Ideally . An immediate starter would be ideal.
