Their rapidly growing ICT Management Consultancy focuses on the Government, Education, Transport and Financial sectors. As they continue to grow they need a constant intake of Project Management Consultants to support their projects. The ICT business unit is part of a larger global consultancy with offices in all major economies.
Qualifications/Skills Required
Ideally candidates will have experience across a broad range of Information Communication Technology infrastructure and/or integration projects coupled with a broad knowledge base and understanding of latest technologies and trends from the major ICT vendors. Candidates will possess strong technology experience gained throughout their career, with a proven project management and consultancy track record.
The key experience required is:
Professional ICT consultancy experience, from a technical, operational or management background;
experience of ICT integration and technology requirements in construction programmes / projects;
a sound understanding of the processes and approaches for determining a Vision and Strategy to assist delivery of successful ICT solutions ;generally candidates would be expected to have project management experience with a proven track record and Prince 2 certification or equivalent; demonstrable experience of excellent client management skills; hands-on Project management techniques, including planning and reporting; high-level technical knowledge and design awareness of some of the following areas / technologies:- Learning Platforms; Cabling Infrastructures; LAN; WAN; Active network components; Thin / Thick client concepts; Intelligent building concepts; Enterprise wireless technologies; Data Centres; Converged technologies such as Unified Messaging; CCTV; Access Control; Cashless Catering; Audio Visual; Digital Signage; IPTV
Experience of working with various project teams for several different clients simultaneously;
experience of different procurement strategies and approaches such as OGC, OJEU, LEP, would be an advantage; experience of working with the Education sector, specifically BSF and Further Education would be also be an advantage
