Founded over 40 years ago this civil and structural engineering practice is now well established throughout the North of England. Working with Private and Public Sector clients they have been involved in a range projects including roads, railways, harbour works, water supply and treatment and sewage works.

They also have scope to run bespoke civil engineering schemes and are looking to develop this area of their business further.

The role requires you to manage your own workload in line with project requirements and you will liaise with necessary statutory undertakers to ensure successful adoption of designs. You are also likely to be required to make regular contact with your client and supervise junior staff.
Qualifications/Skills Required
To carry out this role it is essential that you have previous experience in highways design and any drainage experience would be a distinct advantage. You will need to be familiar with Local Authority adoption procedures and you should be comfortable taking a client facing role. You will be a well rounded design engineer, fully competent in AutoCAD and capable of managing multiple design schemes.
