Job Description
An exciting opportunity exists for an Interim Co-location Manager within our local authority client. This role has been established to plan and coordinate various multidisciplinary teams within the Social Services division to one site as part of a government requirement.
The successful candidate will have to ensure that the physical move of the specified teams is completed within a set budget and timescale, and that the services are fully functional and operational with minimal loss of services.
This is a demanding role with a variety of duties to include:
- Schedule a project plan detailing the move of a number of multi-disciplinary teams currently located in separate sites to one co-located site.
- Liaising with and monitoring contractors involved in the project
- Overseeing the transfer of staff and other resources, installation of infrastructure and appropriate security, cleaning, reception etc
- To resolve any issues and provide periodic reports on progress to the various workstreams
- Oversee H&S requirements and ensure risk assessments are met
Candidates must have previous experience in a similar role where they have completed a complex project involving at least 20 people across two organisations or services such as an office move.
Knowledge of Microsoft Project/Prince or equivalent project management methodology and practice is essential.
Also required is an understanding of the aims/objectives of the Children With Disabilities Pathfinder Trust project and knowledge of the diversity of accommodation needs of all key stakeholders and services.
This role is a temporary booking due to last 6 months and will be based in West London. Only candidates who are available immediately will be considered.
