Job Description
The opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Advisor to work within our East London based, local authority client in a temporary booking for four months. Our client is looking for an Interim HR Advisor to provide operational HR support to the various Service Areas.
Principle duties to include:
To be involved in the case management of disciplinaries at all levels (sickness, capability and grievance)
Providing support to managers in meetings on a variety of issues
Advising managers and staff on terms and conditions of employment, referring to current legislation and good practice
Change management - there has recently been changes implemented in this area
Local government/public sector experience is required and, as dealing with case work is an important part of this role, it is essential that you have substantial experience of this. You will be customer focused, organised and have a flexible approach to work.
