ICT Category and Contracts Manager
Responsible for the management of ICT contracts & ICT categories within Central Government organisation.
• Develop and establish Category Management strategies for respective ICT remit (Infrastructure, Services, Telecoms, Software)
• Provision of ICT Category Management or Contract Management of complex IT Contracts
• Management of complex ICT contracts & ongoing commercial relationships – infrastructure, telecoms, software and ICT service contract
• Managing negotiations
• Ensuring service quality standards from ICT Service Providers
Qualifications/Skills Required
Skills and experience required for the role
Mandatory
• Experience in an ICT commercial/contract and procurement related environment either within the public or private sector.
• Experience of managing strategically important ICT contracts to achieve business objectives
• Experience of working within an ICT environment and sound appreciation of the importance of ICT in meeting business needs across a challenging environment.
Highly Desirable
• Experience/understanding and knowledge of procurement procedures
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills
• Good team-worker with a willingness to share information
• Ability to show initiative and work without supervision
Security Clearance
Valid SC or CTC Security Clearance is mandatory
