Recently, they have been making their presence felt through some high profile acquisitions corporately and appointing high profile individuals with a reputation for excellence within their particular field.
Within the North of England they have a particularly strong presence with offices in Leeds, York and Manchester. Offering local clients excellent service from local strength with international support they also actively encourage employees to take advantage of their international offices and the opportunity of working from them on either a project or permanent basis.
Presently you are either a Graduate Electrical Design Engineer or an Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer seeking the opportunity to work on a broader range of projects, gain more training or a mix of the two.
This busy team has a vast array of work ranging from local authority and health care framework schemes to London Underground schemes and a range of projects for commercial clients both in the UK and overseas.
You will be initially working alongside a Prinicpal Engineer developing designs from concept through to detail stage and getting exposure to client meetings and inspecting works on site.
Qualifications/Skills Required
An Electrical Design Engineer presently working at Graduate or Intermediate level, you are likely to be confident in producing designs for small schemes or sections of larger schemes, but still need the support of a more knowledgeable Engineer on occasions.
It is likely that you have either a degree or a HNC in Electrical Engineering and good basic knowledge of UK design codes and CDM regulations.
You should also be computer literate, familiar with Amtech or Hevacomp in addition to the usual Microsoft Office applications.
