An Intermediate level Structural Technician is required to join a team of 15 Building Structures Engineers and Technicians in Sheffield. This is an exciting opportunity for a Structural Technician to work on some of the most exciting projects in Yorkshire.

You would work with 3 Technicians of varying levels to support a team of Engineers. Projects include commercial, education, refurbishment and health. There are also opportunities to become involved with 3D work. This consultancy's unique workload is shared between the Leeds and Sheffield offices.

Qualifications/Skills Required

To apply for the position of Intermediate Structural Technician you should have an HNC / HND in Civil / Structural Engineering, with some experience working as a Structural Draughtsperson / Technician within a Consultancy environment. You should have good general buildings experience with experience of RC detailing, structural steelwork and use of AutoCAD in particular 3D CAD or 3D Plus. You should have a genuine interest in what you are drawing and be keen to progress with your career. Training options are available for candidates who want to pursue this.
