Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to work directly for a leading UK business communications service provider.
The purpose of this job is to secure good quality and well qualified opportunities for the Southern Sales Teams to sell products and services to Business Decision Makers.
The main areas of responsibilty are:
1. Lead Generation
- To create quality appointments
- All appointments to be worth at least £1000 in new business
- To supply sales teams with accurate and correct information
- To be responsible for their targets
- To liase with sales teams to ensure all meetings are accepted
2. Database Management
- To ensure there is minimum of 2000 active records
- To ensure all data fields are filled in correctly and hold up to
date information.
- To ensure 20% of all calls are from cold data.
- To source relevant data for the industry
3. Activity
- To make a minimum of 12.5 hours calling a week
- To make a minimum of 500 calls a week
4. Forecasting and Reporting
- To report weekly to the Internal Sales Manager weekly on
performance against KPI's
- To forecast weekly to Internal Sales Manager which companies
they hope to book

Qualifications/Skills Required
A positive person with a mature outlook would be very effective in this role. You must be an excellent communicator, and be able to communicate accross all levels of business. It is necessary to be IT literate and numerate. The ability to self-manage and self-motivate is vital. 5 GCSE's including English and Maths are essential but an education to graduate level is desirable. Telesales/telecoms experience.
