Job Description
Our client, a successful International Consultancy Firm is looking to recruit an investment consultant to join their rapidly expanding company.
Responsibilities include:
Developing and implementing investment strategies for defined benefit and defined contribution pension funds.
Preparing reports and presentations on investment policy review
Performing asset/liability studies
Producing and/or reviewing investment performance monitoring reports that include the review of investment managers performance and comparing these to various benchmarks and peer groups
Collecting and analyzing information required for the selection of the investment managers
Initiating and monitoring the transition of assets following policy or manager changes
Participating in the research efforts on investment related topics
Helping to expand the Investment Consulting business
Building strong relationships with clients, administrators and fund managers
Qualifications/Skills Required
Requirements:
Extensive knowledge of the Fund's liabilities, assets, and markets.
Ability to effectively communicate complex information to the investment committee and the trustees.
Good understanding of financial markets and a detailed knowledge of how to monitor and assess fund managers.
A proven background in finance, economics, actuarial science or investment management will be highly beneficial.
Ideally candidates will be working towards or have completed the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) qualification, the actuarial professional examinations or a similar investment qualification.
2-4 years work experience in an investment consulting firm, fund management organisation or actuarial consulting firm is required.
Candidates must be fluent in Greek and English.
