Job Description

Our client is seeking an Ion selective Membrane/Ionophore Specialist who has expertise in solid state ion-selective membranes and ionophores. Experience in membrane formulation essential. Assay Transfer, Development and Optimisation to screen-printed electrochemical biosensors for development of a multianalyte diagnostic instrument.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years experience in membrane development and the associated chemistry such as polymer composition and ionophores etc, including the ability to take on a research project get results and back it up with a written report.

A PhD, BSc or higher is desirable but not essential. The person must be able to work well in a multi-disciplinary team environment and have working experience of GLP/GMP. Knowledge of immunochemical techniques, product development or electrochemistry would be a big bonus.

Salary : £25,000 - £35,000 (negotiable)
