Qualifications/Skills Required

General Profile of Candidates we are looking for:
(a) Experience: 5 yrs and above or if you have some outstanding expertise it can be even 3 years.
(b) Minimum qualifications: This will be position specific
(c) Education: Engineering Degree or masters such as MCA, MS etc. or Advanced certification courses in IT.
(d) Expertise in any or more than one of the following: C, C# & C ++, JAVA, J2EE, .net, ORACLE, PEOPLE SOFT, SAP, QA analysts, Project Managers, Business Analysts, TIBCO etc.
(e) Willing to relocate to Canada within 2- 3 months or sooner
(f) Excellent communication skills
(g) Candidates can be located anywhere in the world as long as they are willing to relocate to Canada

The basic procedure for the candidate is:

*Candidate will undergo a multi-step evaluation/interview process with SkillsMeridian prior to presentation to employer
*Successful candidates will do interview(s) with employer(s)
*Successful candidate receives a job offer from our Canadian employer
*Our immigration lawyer and the employer will help the candidate prepare his temporary work visa application package (sponsored by the employer)
*Candidate needs to get health and criminal record check
*Candidate submits the complete application package to the Canadian visa office in Delhi (or relevant office for country of origin)
*Visa is granted in 2 – 4 weeks (depending on visa office backlog) unless he is a citizen of USA etc. where a visa is not required.
*Candidate can immigrate to Canada after visa is granted
*SkillsMeridian will help candidate with landing services in Canada
*Candidate can apply for Permanent Residence after working in Canada for one year or can renew his temporary work visa (sponsored by the employer)
