A Lighting Specialist with design flair is being sought to join this highly design focused team in Sheffield to produce schemes for a range of projects from city centre master planning such as city centre re-developments and the Olympics, to high profile buildings such as corporate HQ's to retail stores as well as more bespoke sites such as museums and art galleries.

You will be expected to work to a clients brief autonomously while liaising with Senior Engineers as to progress and deadlines. You will also be working with larger groups on specific projects.

The key to success in this role is your ability to seek opportunities and to use your initiative in seeking innovative, yet effective solutions. Within this group you will have the opportunity to interface with and influence services engineers, Architects and Façade Engineers.

Qualifications/Skills Required

An experienced Lighting Specialist, you ideally will have some experience of working on lighting schemes for any of the above projects.

You may well be an engineer (i.e. an Electrical Design Engineer) or be working within the field of Architecture or Interiors. The key thing is that you have a particular flair and interest in lighting.

This position is based in Sheffield, but works very closely with the companies Leeds office on a number of schemes in addition to other offices within the UK and further afield. As such the opportunities for travel are considerable once you have established your skills and credentials within this specialist group.
