. It will be your responsibility to install controls to ensure the effective management of contracts with an expenditure of c£6m. review existing processes and drive improvement activity to deliver real savings to the business. As a key member of the supply chain team you will have close contact with senior managers across all departments working with them to deliver exceptional support to our retail stores team.
Candidate Specification:
Currently managing a 3PL or 4PL contract within a retail supply chain you should be able to demonstrate a strong career to date built on sound management practices. Having a degree level education preferably in logistics, you will possess effective analytical skills and the ability to manage change within a complex business environment. With good relationship building skills it will be possible to highlight your ability to influence and negotiate with suppliers for best value.
In order to succeed candidates should be able to demonstrate resilience and a motivation to get things done.
