Customer Marketing Executive
A leading food manufacturer is recruiting for a Customer Marketing Executive to join their commercial team based in West Yorkshire (Leeds area). The job purpose is to add significant value to sales & marketing propositions, through unrivalled market understanding and first rate customer intelligence and the delivery of creative solutions to support brand and customer strategy
Role responsibilities:
 Contributory responsibility for trade spend budgets for designated customers.
 Key analytical / support role as internal consultant, specialising in customer insight & intelligence, for Commercial team.
 Expert on in store execution of added value support mechanics
 Analyse all available data for designated customers to generate sales arguments for use by Account Managers.
 Prepare / present presentations to customers.
 Manage / monitor activity grids, NPD launches, and ad hoc information for designated customer base.
 Develop, plan and control any category management initiatives with designated customers (eg, shippers, POS, etc)
 Provide category management in strategic customers
 Ensure sales & marketing plans are aligned & focused in priority areas
 Monitor & communicate market information affecting ambient division
 Analyse impact of different promotional mechanics on each brand
Experience and Attributes
 Degree level : must be highly analytical.
 Experience in FMCG environment is essential. Exposure to consumer marketing desirable.
 Experienced in using IRI / TNS / other databases.
 Good project management skills.
 Ability to work cross-functionally and at different levels.
 Results focused.
 Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
 Well developed commercial acumen and numeracy.
 Strong team player.
