Job Description

This building services contractor was formed over ten years ago and can now offer a wide range of services including design, consultancy, installation and maintenance needs throughout the building services division.

As a company they are rapidly expanding and work on projects in the commercial, industrial, education and leisure sectors.

A Mechanical Estimator experienced in heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems within the building services sector of the construction industry is required to join this leading regional mechanical and electrical contractor.

Your role will be to produce estimations on a variety of projects in various different sectors including leisure, commercial, industrial and education.

The role will be based in the Yorkshire region but this contractor is looking to take on projects nationwide eventually due to their growing reputation in the building services sector.

Qualifications/Skills Required

It is essential that applicants for this post are experienced in a building services environment. This means you have worked on heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems throughout your career. You should also be familiar with estimation packages associated with the role.

Being qualified to HNC/HND level would be an advantage but is not essential as experience will be taken into consideration.

A good commercial and financial acumen would be helpful, but not essential. Coming from a building services background it would be beneficial if you have worked on a wide variety of projects such as commercial, industrial and education however this is not essential.
