Job Description
Duties to include:-
minuting of meetings and dealing with ad hoc correspondence with group members – individually or collectively]
To establish, and maintain manual and electronic filing systems for work on offender learning
To maintain a schedule of key events/meetings relating to offender learning and details of attendees
To help organise a series of regional seminars/workshops on offender learning for partners/providers.
To assist with procurement and contracting for education or consultancy services to support offender learning
To monitor expenditure for offender learning budgets
To undertaken research on offender learning in the London region to contribute to the development of a tender specification for the new offender learning service.
To assist with the production of reports or powerpoint presentations on offender learning
To assist with the wider work of the social inclusion team, under the supervision of the head of social inclusion
Skills
Organisational skills
Minute taking
IT - word, powerpoint, outlook, excel, databases
Written and oral communication
Database management
Background in work with offenders or wider social policy work (desirable not essential)
