JOB DESCRIPTION FOR THE POSITION OF OPERATIONS MANAGER/ OFFICE MANAGER
The specific duties of the Operations Manager are as follows:
A. Client Services
1. Ensure that client service is the first priority of the office and that client
requests are dealt with promptly and courteously by all staff.
2. Ensure that good housekeeping priority is given inside the office to the
efficient filing, updating and retrieval system of all client materials, whether in
hard copy or on the computer network.
B. System and Database Administrator
1. Ensure the stable operation of the in-house computer software systems
including the electronic company filing system and archiving.
2. Ensure the stable operation of Consultants' computer software systems
including creating back up protocols for consultant lap tops and gathering
data centrally
3. Ensuring data integrity and that the systems perform as they should, are
backed up and secure.
4. Analyse and resolve end user software programme and connectivity
issues
5. Maintain the FTP site and possible development into a VPN
6. Provide first line technical support and liaison with technical support
contractor
In addition to normal office management duties such as facilites, accounting and finance, support to the sales and marketing director, personell matters etc.
