To analyse and recommend improvements to business processes and systems through the application of modelling, statistical and OR techniques
Key Tasks:
Identify, define and agree with assigned areas of the business their key performance monitors
Work with senior business managers, including Board Directors, to put in place metrics to measure and track these monitors on an ongoing basis
Research, identify and project manage the introduction of new business processes
Identify and manage improvements on current business processes and systems
Put together strategies for process improvement. Test alternative hypotheses through the application of OR and statistical techniques. Recommend practical initiatives to relevant areas of the business
Train customers in the use of devised business monitors and control systems
Manage and report on own assigned projects and tasks to the line manager
Keep up to date with external developments in OR and other relevant specialist disciplines
