Job Description
Large local authority requires professional and experienced PAs to provide support to senior members of staffs. This role will require individuals that have the ability to provide full administrative assistance. A successful candidate will have a minimum of two years experience and able to work to deadlines. It is essential that you have a typing speed of 60 wpm and have an excellent knowledge using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook. Diary management and great impersonal skill are essential as well as minute taking and audio typing ability. These positions are based on both short-term and long-term contract.
Main duties
Operate and maintain a range of PA/ Secretarial activities
Diary Management using electronic diary system
Controlling all incoming and outgoing correspondence.
Setting up and archiving files both manually and electronically
Scheduling travel itineraries
Dealing with all management telephone enquires
Minute taking at management meetings and conferences
Copy and Audio typing management reports
Personal Specification:
Previous PA/Secretarial experience essential
Must have advanced knowledge using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Minute taking skills are essential
Minimum typing speed of 50wpm
Audio skills is desirable however not essential
Must be a team player
Highly organised with the ability to work under pressure.
