PERSONAL ASSISTANT TO DIRECTOR – ADVERTISING/MARKETING - BIRMINGHAM
£21000 - £23000
On behalf of our client we're seeking someone who can support the Marketing Director and help make her life easier so that she can focus on the big stuff!
You will be working in a "high energy" environment. The Company is funky, dynamic with a real team spirit. It is a rapidly growing company that operates at a very fast pace.
Working there is exciting, and never dull! At times things can be a bit frenzied. For the right person it is the perfect place to work, but if you prefer a stable, calm and routine role in a traditional environment - this is NOT for you!
The job is very varied. No two days will be the same and the Director will need you to be 10 steps ahead of her all the time!!
Duties will include (but are not limited to)-
Working closely with the Director and supporting her with researching clients, organising events, diary management and new business administration.
The right person for this job has the following skills and attributes:
* An outgoing, bubbly personality;
* Excellent telephone manner
*Excellent attention to detail – ensuring new business documents are accurate and correct – First Impressions are essential!
* Tons and tons of initiative. This person is someone who can spot a problem, work out a solution and fix it before the Director even knew it was a problem!
* Quick learner - there's a lot to take in and the pace is fast ... very fast!
* Lots of get up and go. They'll be known for their energy and drive
* Able to build instant rapport and relations with people, both face to face and on the phone.
* Flexibility - some days you'll need to start early and finish late (occasionally very late) other days you'll come in late and finish early. It's all about give and take. This is not 100% 9 -5.30.
* Experience - the right person will have at least 2 years experience as PA, probably to a senior Director.
* Experience of working within Advertising or Marketing environment is very desirable!!
Salary is not an issue here. We're seeking someone truly great. They must have experience of working in this type of role before but most important factors are attitude and cultural fit.
