A Principal / Associate level Geo-Environmental Consultant is required to join an established Geo-Environmental team in Leeds. You will work within a large multi-disciplinary office of approximately 200 staff.
You will be one of the principal technical specialists for geotechnical and contaminated land issues within the regional business unit and you will be responsible for the management and development of the contaminated land team. You will also be involved with business development and client liaison.
Qualifications/Skills Required
To apply for the role of Principal / Associate Geo-Environmental Consultant you should be qualified to BSc level, and ideally MSc level in a relevant environmental science or geological discipline. You should have previous experience of desk studies and site investigations for brownfield site developments. You should have experience of working to current UK standards, methodologies and practice for soil and water analysis. Also you should have previous experience of the remediation of contaminated land and emerging remediation technologies. You should be able to prepare and review interpretative reports according to engineering and budgetary constraints. Also, experience of the site supervision of remediation works would be an advantage.
