A Principal Engineer is required to join the multidisciplinary office in Sheffield. The office are currently developing it's Light Rail Transport capability to allow them to provide rapid transit projects such as light rail, trams, trolley buses and BRT schemes. A Principal Engineer is required to lead and develop this team, working on major transport infrastructure schemes from initial concept through the planning process to implementation.
Travel to other offices may be required.
Qualifications/Skills Required
To apply for the position of Principal Engineer you should be a Chartered or near Chartered Engineer, with significant post graduate experience in a transport related field. You should have experience of highway or rapid transit design projects and good multidisciplinary knowledge of transport infrastructure related issues. You should be experienced in managing delivery of projects against budgets, with a working knowledge of the Design Manual for Roads and Bridges and RSP 2.
