A world leader, this multi-disciplinary consultancy specialises in the provision of planning, design and management services for infrastructure development worldwide.

The team in Leeds has around 60 members engaged on various schemes for the EA through their framework partnership and major projects (>£3m) for Yorkshire Water.

This appointment can be made at Senior or Principal Engineer grade with a salary package to reflect.
It is a key appointment in the team and you will join a thriving area of our clients business. Ultimately you will act as a focal point for process engineering input into large scale water treatment projects. Recent schemes have included a £40m re-build and extension to a major Ww treatment plant, a £13m extension to one of the regions key treatment plants and a £10m upgrade to a flood alleviation pumping station. This means you will have the opportunity to add some impressive projects to your CV and further your technical knowledge in this field.
Typical duties will include:
- Undertaking process calculations for water and wastewater treatment plant designs
- Undertaking detailed design for construction stages
- Providing overall guidance on our clients process capability under the YW framework
- Designing refurbishment and upgrade plans of water and WwTW
- Producing accurate technical reports and providing input into bids for new work
Qualifications/Skills Required
As this is a key, senior appointment in the team it is essential that you can demonstrate extensive design experience working on water process schemes in the UK.
You will need to hold a relevant degree in a chemical, biological or civil engineering related subject and you will have an excellent in depth understanding of water and wastewater treatment processes.
Familiar with relevant process modelling software packages you will have a strong technical knowledge and will be close to chartership if not chartered already (CIWEM / IChemE or similar).
