Job Description
MSB Supply Chain Management, a specialist recruitment company in the field of procurement, is looking for a Procurement Manager for an esteemed client.
The key responsibilities will be:
· Develop knowledge of the customer and contract and be able to apply key principles of procurement.
· Ability to understand and interpret financial information and understand how well the company and the area in which they work is performing.
· Drive initiatives / change to continually improve processes within the procurement team.· Ensure that KPI objectives are met or exceeded.
· Demonstrate expert knowledge of their area and possess a range of skills required to complete job-related tasks successfully.
· Develop/Demonstrate knowledge of :The businesss major contracts, D&B, Inspections, Maintenance & Feeder Contracts, Purchase to Pay process
Experience required:
· Min 3 years experience of managing a procurement team and direct management of suppliers.
· 5 years + experience in the telecom, computer or automobile industry.· JDE experience preferred, not essential.
· Contract development required.
· Experience if innovative cost management processes required.· Good competence in use of Microsoft office
