Essential
Graduate of Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) (or equivalent)
Degree in a relevant subject area

2. Knowledge and Skills
Essential
Procurement of major strategic partnering arrangements.
Communication skills in written, oral and presentation formats.
Negotiation skills/Stakeholder awareness/Understanding of collaborative procurement/Positive outlook.
Desirable
Procurement of major construction.
3. Relevant Experience
Essential
Wide strategic procurement experience gained in public sector with demonstrated understanding of private sector management.
At least 5 years experience of Project Management at a senior level.
Substantial understanding on procurement and management of PFI/PPP contracts.
