MSB Supply Chain, on behalf of their prestigous global network company have a fantastic opportunity for a procurement specialist to join their dynamic team. The position has arisen due to growth with in the company and the department. The successfull candidate will ideally come from a technology, distribution or manufacturing background and have at least 5 years experience. Specific experience in Contract or price negotiation, price reduction, supplier management, good analytical and numerical skills. For selected product/market/project opportunities, the Procurement Specialist will work with Purchasing, Marketing and Sales teams to… · Review/define supply chain and supplier selection criteria and processes · Initiate and manage the issue of Request for Quotation/Tender documentation · Review RFQ/Tender responses and negotiate terms and conditions to formal supply agreements/contracts · Define/manage resulting purchasing processes · Review ongoing supplier performance against defined criteria · Implement and manage ongoing service/price improvement measures with the selected supply chain · Provide full procurement service for nominated projects · Line management of project specific purchasing teams.
