Job Description

Producer / Cameraman
A webcast producer is required for a new and exciting daily internet webcast. Working with our sponsors, writers, presenters and marketing department you will play a central role in all aspects of the planning, production and broadcasting of the daily webcast, along with being responsible for the day to day management of the production team. You will be expected to have experience of both digital video camerawork and editing / producing video content using either a PC or Mac. Ideally you will be able to produce evidence of your previous work. This is a new venture from an established IT company based in Warrington. This role provides the right candidate with a great opportunity to create a reputation for themselves in a developing industry.

Qualifications/Skills Required

Main responsibilities / areas of previous experience:
• Lead camera man for daily broadcasts filming at various locations throughout the day
• Managing sound recording
• Edit and produce daily customer video broadcasts
• Use and maintain the all relevant technology
• Key role in generating interesting web content
• Liaise with journalists to plan broadcasts
• Communicate with customers in order to define and achieve joint goals
• To manage production team
• selecting stories for bulletins and making appropriate changes when new stories break
• deciding on the best order for stories within the programme, based on their nature/content
• using specialized computer software and studio equipment;
• giving technical directions
• Fully computer literate with a knowledge of writing HTML pages

The webcasts will have a young and vibrant content, the opportunities would suite all ages with a forward thinking attitude the role is especially suited to recent media graduates. Must have own car and clean drivers license.
