PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT MANAGER - WINTER PROGRAMME

This leading travel company is looking for a Product Development Manager to develop the winter programme that offers an alternative to ski. The Product Development Manager will plan, develop & deliver the winter programme while working to sales & profit targets.

Key Accountabilities include:

- Develop a winter programme that offers an alternative to ski to give incremental business to the division
- Effectively brief & monitor contractors to ensure the appropriate delivery of product
- Lead the development of a compelling brochure & website
- Represent the company a various functions, tradeshows & exhibitions
- Monitor & evaluate delivery & performance of the winter product, using feedback to inform both both product development & to identify quality assurance issues.
- Analyse weekly sales patterns year on year reporting on issues that are hindering sales (ie inventory, yield, overseas etc)

The successful candidate will:

- Have a passion for activities & outdoor pursuits
- Strong destination knowledge of winter product
- Strong travel or marketing experience, ideally with experience of launching new product
- Brochure production & website content management experience
- European languages would be an advantage
- Very commercially minded - able to grow product, protect margins & pursue new opportunities
