Job Description
Our client is looking for a Project Manager to take up a key position within the Operations and Logistics department, and assume ownership of key projects. Your remit will cover all operational issues, from design conception through to delivery of the product to the client.
The main duties of the role are as follows:
-Manage the progress of projects
-Maintain financial control of all projects
-Plan work throughput, ensuring that change is managed appropriately
-Help manage and develop the overseas supply network
-Ensure appropriate quality is maintained throughout the supply chain
-Deal with overseas offices, incorporating visits when necessary
-Help lead global supplier selection, development and performance initiatives
The required experience is:
-3 years of project management, preferably with a bias towards out-sourcing
-Proven experience of project buying at a senior level for medium/ light-weight hardware
-Direct experience of managing both domestic and over-seas suppliers
-BA(hons) or HND in Business and Finance
-CIPS
