This particular part of the company focuses on providing energy and utility solutions at the very start of schemes by working with end users, Architects and Project Managers to develop the strategy for the building and model how it will integrate with its surrounding area.
The Project Manager role could almost be described as a Business Manager post and will put you at the forefront of high profile schemes within the local region and further afield.
Your responsibility will be to look after the financial administration of schemes from both the client aspect and that of your own organisation.
You will also taking a very active role in front of clients leading project update meetings and providing two way feedback to the engineering team.
Qualifications/Skills Required
To be considered for this Project Manager role you should have a solid understanding of the construction industry and process. Ideally you will possibly working as a Project Manager at present or be a Quantity Surveyor looking to move to a role at the front end of schemes where you will also be involved in the strategy of a project.
It will also be useful if you are familiar with working within a consultancy, but this is not essential. Of far greater importance is your attitude, willingness to embrace ideas and ability to communicate with clients and other construction professionals.
