Job Description
We are looking for Project Manager / Consultants with 2-3 years of small, medium or large project consultancy experience gained either with a specialist consultancy or with an internal consultancy from a FTSE 100 company.
Purpose of the job:
•The overall purpose of the job is to manage the successful delivery of solutions to business problems through structured and appropriate project management methods..
•The outcome will be new products/services or changes to existing products/services through the co-ordination and management of Business, IT and external resources.
The primary responsibilities of the role are to:
oDefine the project in conjunction with the Business Executive/Sponsor.
oManage the implementation of that project to agreed time, costs and quality parameters.
oEnsure that the solution implemented is capable of delivering the business benefits expected and defined in the Project Initiation Document..
Specific Knowledge
•Demonstrable knowledge of Project management methods and tools
•In-depth knowledge of full project lifecycle management
•Broad business knowledge, including financial knowledge
Industry Experience
•Experience of delivering projects through others and without direct control
•Worked within fast paced industry and business
Qualifications/Skills Required
Qualification:
•Educated to degree level or equivalent
•PRINCE2 or APM OR PMI qualified
