Job Description

Project Manager - EIA
PRINCIPAL ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED

•Project Management experience specifically in leading on EIA projects and ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams including commissioning of sub-consultants when required.

•Good understanding of environmental issues, a speciality in at least one environmental topic.

•Experience with a range of projects including mixed-use developments and waste projects.

•Experience and knowledge of the EIA process and technical skills in Impact Assessment.

•Understanding of Environmental Assessment techniques for a range of environmental issues and the ability to ensure accuracy of technical reports.

•Ability to build client relationships and marketing business to expand the existing client base.

•Ability to communicate and negotiate with government agencies and stakeholders.

•Ability to supervise and train junior staff in EIA.

•Environmental Statement and Report Writing skills.

Qualifications/Skills Required

Applicants should have a minimum of five years relevant experience of managing EIAs and should also have excellent oral/written communication and business skills. Specialist expertise in at least one technical field of impact assessment, for example water, landscape, or air quality would be advantageous. A full UK driving licence is essential.
