Job Description

A market leading manufacturing company based in Devon are currently seeking a skilled Purchasing Manager. The successful candidate will come on board to lead purchasing forward by implementing purchasing strategies as well as running a small team. As a manager your role will encompass:

- New product sourcing
- Supplier Management & Negotiation
- Global Sourcing
- Dealing with all inventory
- Managing & driving a team forward

Therefore the ideal candidate will have:

- A solid background of at least 4 years purchasing within the manufacturing industry (Ideally parts or engineered related area)
- A minimum of 2 years purchasing management experience
- Knowledge of MRP is essential
- Expertise of global sourcing and purchasing strategies is paramount.
