Job Description
An international FMCG company based in Nottingham are currently a seeking a skilled Purchasing Manager. Joining the company the successful candidate will be responsible for managing all the purchasing of raw materials, packaging, consumables & services.
The successful candidate will:
- Deal with both existing suppliers as well as source new suppliers
- Purchase site services
- To negotiate best possible value
- Monitor stock levels
- Manage performance of purchasing department through KPI
Therefore the ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of 5 years purchasing experience working within FMCG, ideally food/ingredients.
- At least 2 years Purchasing Manager experience
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Excellent commercial awareness
- Proactive approach to purchasing
This is an excellent role for the correct candidate to come on board and drive the purchasing division forward.
