Job Description

To provide the social work service of assessment and care planning and, as appropriate, child protection investigation for: Children in need in the locality/borough/district/hospital (Family Support Team) or Children with specific physical, learning or sensory disabilities (Disability Team) or the social work and keyworking role for some children looked after or those with complex child protection plans (Long Term Team). Qualifications: Professional Social Work Certificate Knowledge, Skills & Experience Sound and up-to-date professional knowledge (research, DoH Guidance, principles of the Children's Act 1989, welfare check list etc.) Good written and verbal communication skills.
