Job Description
My client a technical research facility within the ministry of defence based in Berkshire require a recruitment account manager to join their HR function.
Responsibilities
Agree recruitment plans (including Service Level Agreements) with customers, ensuring the quality of documentation received for the roles to be recruited into.
Deliver a recruitment service, from attraction of candidates to the new entrants first morning, that meets agreed company and legislative standards, as well as customer/departmental expectations.
Provide advice to customers on best practice & legislative issues within recruitment & selection and on getting the best out of the recruitment process itself.
Maintain effective communication with customers to keep them informed of recruitment campaign progress. Maintain contact with candidates to retain their interest in working on site.
Participate in recruitment & selection activities as appropriate (e.g. assessment centres, attending University visits, etc.).
Complete all administration to ensure records (electronic & manual) are up to date.
Become involved in wider HR projects as appropriate.
Ensure the success of the Recruitment team by a variety of means.
Provide statistics and information to feed into reporting and planning activities.
Qualifications
Degree level education is highly preferable.
Good standard of Maths and English (written and spoken). (Verbal reasoning and Numerical analysis skills will be tested during the recruitment process.)
Knowledge
Knowledge of the recruitment process (as a supplier) is essential.
It is preferable that this knowledge has been obtained from work experience gained from within an in-house HR team.
Knowledge of the University system is also highly desirable.
Experience
Previous recruitment experience is essential. It is preferable that this experience has been gained whilst working in an in-house HR team/department. Although, candidates with Recruitment Agency experience will also be considered.
All candidates should have previous experience of working successfully in a busy office environment and be prepared to work with some very challenging recruitment assignments.

High standards and excellent attention to detail is essential in this role to maintain appropriate quality standards & prevent mistakes.
