Job Description
Our client, a major transport specialist company who provide services to the rail, air and marine industries including aircraft grooming and special needs passenger handling have a requirement for a Recruitment & Vetting Officer to be based at their Heathrow operation office working 0830-1700hrs Monday-Friday.
The position is to co-ordinate recruitment and selection activities in conjunction with the Recruitment Manager, ensure that the recruitment process complies with Company procedures and BAA rules and regulations and make certain that security vetting procedures are carried out for relevant employees.
You will assist in the introduction and operation of personnel policies and procedures, recruit, interview and select operational and non-operational staff and provide support and guidance to line managers on recruitment issues. You will also ensure that all vacancies have an approved job description, monitor the effectiveness of recruitment of policies and procedures and be involved in a range of other recruitment related projects.
Qualifications/Skills Required
At least 2 years recruitment experience
Ability to prioritise in a busy and dynamic environment
Excellent communication skills at all levels
Good IT skills including Word, Excel and Access
Strong organisational skills and ability to use initiative
Enthusiastic and flexible approach with team-working skills
