Job Description

Regional Contract Manager
Job Title: REGIONAL CONTRACTS MANAGER

Responsible To: Regional Director
Responsible For: Supervisors, Engineers and Operatives
Monthly Management meetings. Contract Reviews. Team Briefings.

Job Objectives and Responsibilities:

1. To manage contracts secured by Maintenance in a profitable and creditable way whilst endeavouring to exceed customer expectations.

2. To keep close professional contact with clients to be able to monitor customer satisfaction.

3. To ensure the company Health & Safety policy is adhered to.

To ensure compliance with the Maintenance Quality Management System and be instrumental in leading and implementing the procedures and instructions with particular attention to the areas of responsibility indicated in the document.

Main Duties:

1. To manage contracts both operationally and financially to ensure correct operation within budget.

2. To attend regular meetings with clients to review operation of the contracts and to assess customer satisfaction.

3. To prepare estimates and quotations with appropriate back up documentation in accordance with company procedures.

4. To accept and clarify customer orders up to an agreed level.

5. To determine priorities in conjunction with the Contracts Co-ordinator for the allocation of direct and sub-contract labour.

6. To manage and monitor direct and sub-contract labour to ensure the expected standards of Maintenance are maintained in line with Maintenance Procedures

7. Prepare planned preventative maintenance programmes to meet contract requirements and optimise the use of direct and sub-contract labour.

8. Undertake, where necessary, site safety and site maintenance inspections in line with Maintenance Procedures.

9. To monitor and sign worksheets, expenses, time allocation sheets and vehicle sheets in line with Maintenance procedures.

10. Carry out inductions for new employees and appraisals for existing employees in line with Maintenance and Group procedures.

11 To raise and sign purchase orders in line with company procedures.

12 To be responsible, in accordance with company rules, procedures and instructions for the recruitment, induction, employment, appraisal, training and work allocation of staff making recommendations to the Contracts Director regarding promotion, remuneration and training requirements.




Qualifications/Skills Required

HNC desirable
