Job Description

We are urgently looking for an experienced Research & Statistics Officer for our local authority client. This role is based in the education department and its purpose is to support the delivery of the LEA's research and information function which will include the following:

- research design and specification
- collation and analysis of data in order to meet statutory and corporate requirements
- supporting the performance monitoring of education services and schools

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a high level of statistics and experience of research (work or study based), with a proficiency in SPSS being a distinct advantage. It is essential that the candidate has strong skills within quantative research as this will constitute a major part of their role.

This is a temporary booking for 5 months which will be based in East London, close to a number of public transport connections. As it is due to start shortly, only candidates who are available immediately will be considered.
